We are please to be involved in the fund raising to help Chimanimani Golf Course in Zimbabwe which was washed away by Cyclone Idai.

We at Andrew Mair Golf Design & Management have been heavily involved in the re-design and construction of a new golf course with clubhouse. We are also supporting this fantastic cause inconjunction with my 50 years in golf and the Zimbabwe Golf Association.

Statement from Cath Riley, Golf4U

Chimanimani has been hit hard by cyclone Idai. Matsetso Stars Sport to Conversation is a Youth Club for disadvantaged kids living in Chimanimani. Matsetso Stars was founded and is run by Jane High. Soccer and Golf are the 2 sports played by the kids. Most of the kids live on the Chimanimani Golf Course - the course has been washed away.

The golfers compete in provincial and national Junior tournaments, 4 golfers trust, Kyplon, Spawn and Vincent were recently at Chapman Golf Club for coaching with Cath Riley. They as well the community need your help. The golfers will be competing these holidays in the Manicaland Junior tournaments, we need to get decent sets of clubs for them plus decent golf bags, balls, tees, marker, golf clothes, shoes and socks. Please contact Cath Riley at the range or drop donations off at the range office. Trust one of the top players is currently being airlifted to Mutare for urgent medical attention.
